History
Chamber Music PLUS was launched as a civic arts society at The Old State House in Hartford, CT. Chamber Music PLUS was then, and it remains today, dedicated to the promotion of the intimate art form – chamber music.
Led by its founders, Harry Clark, cellist/playwright, and pianist Sanda Schuldmann, the organization had homes in Tucson, AZ and Hartford, CT.
In the 2008-2009 Season, Chamber Music PLUS has closed its offices in Hartford, CT and has moved its headquarters to Tucson, AZ. With that move, the organization also gained a brilliant Managing Director in Gary Bacal.
Chamber Music PLUS was born and remains dedicated to be the resource for audiences that seek the unusual in the traditional form of chamber music.
Chamber Music PLUS continues to be passionate about producing original programs of the highest artistic quality, with a strong commitment to educating “kids” of all ages about the arts, through the arts. Chamber Music PLUS also continues to bring focus to women artists and their contribution to the arts throughout the ages.
